Storm Team 27 is continuing to track this Winter storm. Snow showers continue early afternoon. The intensity has fallen off, and we’re getting lulls between the snow showers. Travel will STILL be very difficult into the afternoon with crews continuing the work. Compounding the effort is some of the blowing snow we’re seeing. Winds are less than 20 mph, but it’s still enough for some drifting and blowing snow to throw some snow back on to roads.

An additional 1 to 2 inches will be possible today, on top of the snow that is already on the ground.

The Bottom Line:
Friday: Snow showers begin tapering into the afternoon. Blowing snow chance until dusk.
Frigid temperatures for the weekend mornings with quiet weather otherwise.
