A heat advisory is in place for Mahoning and Trumbull counties, but all of us are going to feel the heat. Temperatures will climb to the low 90s today and it will feel more like 100 degrees with the humidity.
The pattern will stick around for Sunday. The heat index will reach 100-105 degrees on Sunday. It will be hot and humid, and remain that way heading into the start of the work week.
The highs will be near 90 degrees for most of the week. Since we have the heat and humidity there is a chance for isolated afternoon showers or thunderstorms every day this week.
By next weekend, temperatures will cool off only to the low 80s.
