AUGUSTA, Georgia (WKBN) – LaBrae grad and Furman senior Haylee Harford tied for seventh in the first Augusta National Women’s Amateur at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday.
Harford shot -1 during the final round and was even for the tournament.
The ANWA is the first women’s golf competition played at the once all-male club.
Harford was one of 30 to make the cut for Saturday’s final round.
The 22-year-old birdied the 7th, 12th, 13th, and 18th holes at Augusta National in her final round.
Harford is a three-time All-Southern Conference selection at Furman University.
Jennifer Kupcho won the event, shooting -5 on Saturday and -10 for the tournament.
