YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Valley native Kelly Pavlik's last match was in 2012, but is it possible we could see Pavlik back in the ring again? He says it is possible.
Pavlik told Joe Rogan that he is "really thinking about it."
The 36-year-old appeared on the January 9th episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast where Rogan asked if he still gets the itch.
"I'm working out, losing the weight. But at the same time, there's a lot of process behind that too; I would have to sit down with the family," said Pavlik.
Pavlik's last fight was July 7 of 2012 where he beat Will Rosinsky. He won his last four fights at 168. He is 40-2 in his career.
Pavilk told Rogan that he thinks the cruiserweight division would be a realistic comeback.
FightNights.com is reporting that it isn't a matter of if but when for Pavlik. They say he has been secretly training in California for his comeback attempt.
