WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Newton Falls scores 5 in the third and 8 in the fifth to top Harding, 14-4. The Tigers were led by the bats of Adam Honeycutt (3 for 3) and Julian Cunningham (4 for 4) – who combined for 7 hits. Cunningham and Preston Rapczak both had a double in the win. Cunningham tossed 5 innings, allowing 3 hits, 3 earned runs and struck out 4. This marked Newton Falls’ fourth straight game where they scored double figures.
For Harding, Elijah Taylor had a triple and scored twice. Matt Williams and Jordan Adkins each had the Raiders’ other two base hits. The Raiders are scheduled to take on Liberty on the road on Monday
