Kennedy Catholic grad and West Virginia junior Sagaba Konate is submitting paperwork to request an evaluation from the NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee.
This is the 2nd-straight year the former Golden Eagle has submitting the paperwork.
Konate declared for the NBA Draft last year before heading back to Morgantown for his junior season.
Sags played just eight games this past year due to a knee injury, averaging 13.6 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
Under new NCAA rules, Konate has until April 21 to decide if he will enter the NBA Draft. If he declares, he has until the end of May to decide if he wants to return to the Mountaineers.
He is West Virginia’s all-time blocks leader with 191.
