EAST LANSING, Michigan - As part of the 2K Sports College Hoops Classic, the Spartans ran away with a 86-61 victory over YSU early behind a barrage of three-pointers connected upon by Drew Neitzel and Maurice Joseph. Neitzel (17 points) made 5 of 8 from long distance while Joseph (16 points) was a perfect 4 for 4. Goran Suton registered a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds) during Michigan State's productive night. For YSU, Quin Humphrey (22 points) and Byron Davis (18 points) combined to score a total of 40 points. However, the Spartans outrebounded the Penguins at a rate of 39-18 while shooting 60.8% from the floor compared to just 36.5% for YSU.
