McDonald’s Rasile drops 48 in big win over Lowellville

McDonald junior Zach Rasile was honored before Friday night’s game for becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer, then put on a show in a 72-63 win over Lowellville. 

Rasile scored a game-high 48 points for the Blue Devils, hitting 7 three-pointers and going 11-13 from the free throw line. Back on December 29th, Rasile passed Matt Seitz’s 1,413 career points, cementing him as the school’s all-time leading scorer. He also currently holds nine school records at McDonald. 

The Blue Devils led 28-25 at halftime, then put up 25 points in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead. 

With the win, McDonald improves to 5-4 overall, while Lowellville drops to 6-3.
