Youngstown man injured, Missouri trucker cited after crash

HUBBARD TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – A Missouri truck driver has been cited following an injury accident on Route 62 near I-80 in Hubbard Township Thursday night.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’S Warren post says Stev’vahn Woodruff, 23, of Springfield, Missouri was behind the wheel of a 2016 Freightliner when he made a left turn onto a freeway ramp. The patrol says he failed to yield.

A Jeep driven by Zachary Sharpnack, 22, of Youngstown plowed into the tractor trailer rig. Sharpnack suffered minor injuries and was taken to Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.

Woodruff had a passenger in the truck; neither of them were injured.

Hubbard Township police assisted in the accident investigation.
