WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBN) – There’s a lot of speculation on who Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will select as their running-mates for the presidential election.
On the Democratic side, one name that has continued to surface is Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown.
“I have no idea what’s going to happen here. I don’t expect to be chosen because the governor would replace me with a Republican senator, because the governor has the right to do that if the seat is vacant. I love this job I’m doing now, I love representing the Mahoning Valley and I expect to be in this job for the next three years until I run for re-election,” Brown said.
Brown isn’t the only name from Ohio that could be a possible pick for vice president. Representative Tim Ryan has also been named as a possible running-mate for Hillary.
