Triple homicide suspect to return to Pennsylvania after waiving extradition

There is no word yet on when he will be transferred to the Lawrence County Jail

NEW CASTLE. Pa. (WKBN) - The third suspect wanted in a triple homicide in New Castle will be coming back to Pennsylvania, police said.

Anthony Cooper, 19, was arrested in Michigan last week in connection with the shooting that killed three people.

According to New Castle Police Chief Robert Salem, Cooper waived extradition. 

He faces three counts of homicide in connection to the deaths of Amariah Emery, 10, Nichole Pumphrey, 31, and Lawrence Cannon, 31.

He also faces charges for attempted homicide and carrying a firearm without a license.

There is no word yet on when he will be transferred to the Lawrence County Jail. 

The other two suspects, 19-year old Stephen Procopio and 41-year old Jody Hammer, are also there waiting on a preliminary hearing on Nov. 13.
