NEW HOLLAND, Pa. (WHTM) – Police in Lancaster county have charged a “Jane Doe” with promoting prostitution at a New Holland spa.

New Holland Police along with members of the Lancaster County Drug Task Force conducted an investigation into possible prostitution at Angel Spa on West Main Street.

Police say they received several complaints from residents.

Authorities went undercover and found a female, who was the only person in the business at the time, was offering to perform sexual acts in exchange for money.

Police say the woman refused to identify herself, and was arrested and charged.

Officers and detectives are still working to obtain the woman’s identity.

She was denied bail at her arraignment because she refused to reveal her identity to authorities.

She is currently in Lancaster County Prison.
