Pittsburgh man sentenced in child porn case

A man from Pittsburgh was sentenced in federal court to five years in prison for sharing pornographic images of children.

According to prosecutors, Adam Cadle, 37, was using a group chat service, known as ChatsStep, to send and receive images and videos depicting sexually explicit images of minors, some under the age of 12.

Police searched Cadle’s house on in November 2017 and found numerous images of child pornography on his laptop and a thumb drive.

Forensic evidence uncovered that Cadle was chatting with minors and sharing sexually exploitive material.

In addition to the prison sentence, Cadle has to pay $1,000 in restitution to his victims and be under community control for 10 years.
