Head-on crash in Lawrence County kills 2

LAWRENCE CO., Pa. (WKBN) – Pennsylvania State Police in Lawrence County are investigating a crash that killed two people.

The head-on crash happened around 6 a.m. Friday in Hickory Township.

Troopers say Timothy Croup, of New Castle, 45, and Jessica Allen, 38, of Mercer died in the crash on Route 108 near Grange Hall Road.

According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, Allen’s vehicle struck Croup’s, causing both vehicles to spin off the roadway.

Neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time, according to police.
