UAW, Regional Chamber pushing local issues during Columbus meeting

Ohio

Local leaders are in Columbus, trying to “Drive it Home.”

Local United Auto Workers leaders and the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber plan to meet with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and lawmakers.

They want to push General Motors for a decision on the future of the Lordstown plant. The UAW wants a decision now.

The Chamber says it also plans to address other issues with lawmakers, including protecting and growing the Youngstown Air Reserve Station and Camp Garfield, revitalizing the Mahoning River and promoting additive manufacturing in the Valley.
