Troopers seize $43K in meth during traffic stop

Troopers seized over 400 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Gallia County, near the West Virginia border.

Erica Mix, 27, of Columbus, was pulled over on Route 35  for a lane violation and license plate violation.

A drug-sniffing dog was called in and found 453 grams of methamphetamine in the car. The street value of the drug is $43,000.

Mix and her passenger, Michelle Mix, also of Columbus, were charged with drug possession and taken to the Gallia County Jail.
