Ohio

A North Carolina woman is facing felony charges after police say they found over $3 million worth of heroin and methamphetamine in her truck.

Ashley Tramonte, 27, of Marion, North Carolina was driving along Interstate 70 in Cambridge, Ohio on Wednesday when police pulled her over for following too closely.

Tramonte was driving a rented Penske moving van.

A drug-sniffing dog was called to the scene and led troopers to 110 pounds of heroin and methamphetamine inside the truck. The street value of the drugs is estimated at $3.7 million.

Tramonte was arrested and charged with drug trafficking.
