Ohio Senator Rob Portman is going to make an appearance on CBS’s 60 Minutes Sunday evening.
According to a press release, Portman will be discussing the shipment of dangerous synthetic opioids, such as fentanyl, through the U.S. mail system.
The segment is expected to look into how fentanyl shipped from China, leading to two overdoese in the Akron area.
Portman’s Synthetic Trafficking and Overdose Prevention Act aims to these types of shipments from China through the Postal Service.
The appearance will be at 7 p.m.
