Police: No evidence of reported shooter at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital


Police have given the all clear after a report of a woman threatening people with a gun at Cleveland Clinic’s Medina Hospital on Friday.

Officers said they could not find a suspect, witnesses or evidence to confirm that the initial report actually happened. No shots were fired.

Cleveland Clinic said the hospital and office building were placed on lockdown for about two hours while police searched the building floor by floor.

The hospital said all patients, visitors and employees are safe.
