HOCKING COUNTY, OH (WCMH) – Hocking County deputies are asking for help locating a missing sheriff’s office K9.
Just after5:30pm, Sunday, Hocking County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Rick Torchick was playing with his K9 partner Ilka at their residence in the 29000 block of Jackson Road, when Ilka spotted a deer and began chasing the animal.
The dog has been missing ever since.
Deputies say Ilka was wearing a chain choker collar at the time she ran off after the deer.
