Ohio voters could be voting on a change to the state’s constitution that could affect the presidential race in 2020.

The proposal would change the way Ohio’s electoral college members vote for president.

If adopted, the electoral college members would vote for the winner of the national presidential election instead of the winner of Ohio’s popular vote.

It’s not known who is behind this initiative.

A professional canvasser from Washington, D.C. filed the proposal. The group still needs to collect 443,000 signatures to get it on the Ohio ballot in November.
