Mom arrested after kids eat marijuana gummy candies at Cleveland school

Shari Gould

An Ohio woman is in trouble with the law after more than a dozen children became exposed to drug-tainted candy at a Cleveland elementary school.

Shari Gould was arrested on suspicion of endangering children.

According to a police report, Gould’s child took gummy candy, which contained marijuana, to Anton Grdina Elementary School on Monday.

A teacher’s aide found the candy and the children who had eaten it.

The students were hospitalized, some of whom complained of stomach problems.

At least one child tested positive for THC, a chemical in marijuana.
