Emergency crews at Cleveland airport after FedEx package handler collapses


Hazmat crews were called to Cleveland Hopkins Airport after a man handling packages passed out.

According to WOIO in Cleveland, the man was handling packages on a FedEx truck.

Fox 8 News is reporting that the FedEx driver got dizzy when he picked up the box and felt numbness in his arm. He was taken to the hospital.

WOIO reported that the entire FedEx building was evacuated. Postal workers have since been allowed back in the building, Fox 8 reports.

Along with Hazmat, a bomb squad was called to the scene.

It’s not yet known what was in the package.
