DeWine signs bill designating Overdose Awareness Day

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed a bill Tuesday that sets aside a special day to recognize those who have lost their lives to the drug epidemic.

August 31 has been designated as Overdose Awareness Day.

On that day, the state building will fly its flags at half-staff from sunrise until sunset.
