POLAND TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – A Poland Township man faces criminal charges after a woman reported finding hidden-camera videos of an 11-year-old girl on his cell phone.

The woman, who was in a relationship with the suspect 32-year-old Nathan Clinger, told police that she found the videos after looking through his phone. She said she was suspicious because Clinger has been acting strangely, visiting Asian spas and charging thousands of dollars to pornographic websites, according to a police report.

The woman told police that the videos show the 11-year-old girl getting dressed in her room and using the restroom. She said there were 10 to 12 of those videos in the deleted album on Clinger’s phone.

A police officer noted that he did see videos taped inside the girl’s bedroom which showed Clinger placing the phone in the room.

Clinger, who was arrested at his home on Saturday, told police that his life and career were over as a result of the charges, according to a police report.

The report says Clinger is employed by the U.S. Army.

He’s charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor.

Police are continuing to investigate and said Clinger was in possession of a government-issued cell phone and laptop which they couldn’t immediately access because they were password-encrypted.

Clinger is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
