Recall, Hunt's tomato paste

WASHINGTON (WHTM) – Conagra Brands is recalling certain six-ounce cans of Hunt’s tomato paste for possible mold.

The company said after the canning process, the final product could have been damaged, creating the potential for mold. Conagra said it became aware of the issue after receiving calls from consumers.

The recall involves Hunt’s Tomato Paste No Salt Added with a “Best By” date of Oct. 16, 2020 and an item code of 2105902510 stamped onto the metal can. The UPC code on the label is 00-0-27000-38807-5.

People who have the recalled tomato paste should either throw it away or return it to the store where they bought it.

No other Hunt’s products or Conagra Brands products are impacted by the recall.
