Enesco, LLC, has completed its acquisition of Things Remembered.
The companies announced that they were entering into a sales agreement last month after reports that Things Remembered was planning to file for bankruptcy.
Enesco specializes in giftware, home décor and accessories. The company says it plans to operate Things Remembered under its brand, preserving about 1,400 jobs and giving the company a “broader range of personalized merchandise” to sell.
Enesco says it has designed and licensed under brands such as Disney® and Harry Potter™.
“We are excited about what the future holds for our brand, team members and partners,” said Tejada, president and CEO of Things Remembered. “This transaction with Enesco will allow us to enhance our product offerings and customer experience. We are confident that we now have the right operational and financial structure in place to drive sustainable growth in the months and years to come.”
Things Remembered has a fulfillment center on S. Bailey Road in North Jackson, which Enesco said was part of the sale.
There is also a shop at the Southern Park Mall in Boardman.
