CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – A mother is facing drug charges after police said she was found using heroin in the bathroom of the Canfield Sheetz with her child in tow.

Jamie Ingledue, 34, was charged with child endangering and drug possession after she was arrested at the gas station at 4 a.m. Saturday.

Workers at Sheetz called police for a woman who was acting strangely.

“The employee there, or employees there, contacted our agency because they had some serious concerns about what was going on. Our officers arrived and through talking and investigating the situation, she was found to have heroin on her,” said Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene.

Deputies say workers at the store grew even more suspicious when Ingledue took her 2-year-old daughter into the restroom and then stayed there for a long period of time. Officers said her child was dirty and wasn’t wearing any shoes.

Ingledue appeared in Mahoning County Area Court in Canfield Tuesday evening.
