A magistrate is now considering the case against a Youngstown teen accused of rape.
The East High School student was arrested earlier this year after he was spotted playing in a Junior Varsity basketball game at Ursuline High School — a violation of the terms of his house arrest in the case.
A 15-year-old girl accused him of sexually assaulting her last October while they were both working at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
The defendant’s case wrapped up on Tuesday. It’s expected to be a number of days until a decision is made on his fate.
For now, he remains in the Juvenile Justice Center.
