YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - There have been 20 homicides so far this year in Youngstown and eight of them happened in less than a month.

A man was found dead in a car on Bon Air Avenue on October 14. Our news crew found the car crashed into a tree with bullet holes in the window.

Less than two weeks later, a man was shot and killed in a house on Imperial Street. Police said at the time that it may have been drug-related.

The house had been vacant but a man recently moved in. Neighbors said since then, there had been several shootings at the house.

The next day, a mother and son were found shot to death in their home on Summer Street.

"It's one of these cases that's a lifestyle choice," Police Chief Robin Lees said at the time. "It was clearly a drug house. The folks there were involved in the trade. When you're involved in the drug trade, this is one of the hazards of that business."

Last Saturday, a man was killed in a shooting on Parkview Avenue. Police said he was found in a house with multiple gunshot wounds.

Now three more were shot dead in a car, including an infant, at Gibson Street and E. Pasadena Avenue.
