YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Your Christmas tree may be down and the holidays in the rearview mirror but the Miracle on Federal is squeezing out one more week of Christmas spirit.
The Federal in downtown Youngstown hosted the pop-up bar for a few weeks.
According to The Federal’s Facebook page, the restaurant closed the day before Christmas due to multiple employees testing positive for COVID-19.
The plan was originally to take down the decor and reopen once everyone was better. Instead, co-owner Sophia Martini said they decided to do one more week of the Christmas pop-up.
“We know that we canceled on a lot of people that had reservations the week after Christmas and they were really disappointed and just wanted a chance to just try to come back if they could,” she said.
The restaurant is set to reopen on Tuesday and the Miracle on Federal will run through this Sunday. You can make reservations all week. They open at 4 p.m.
Martini also said they have another pop-up planned for Valentine’s Day. They plan to announce those details on their Facebook page soon.
