Youngstown Police: Pills found inside cruiser after arrest of man

Local News
Nelson Clark III, 25

Youngstown officers say they found pills and a loaded gun after a traffic stop.

They say the driver drove into a driveway on the 300 block of E. Boston St. after the officer pulled up behind him. They say the driver went through a stop sign.

They say three people were in the car. Officers say they searched the people because of the area’s violent crime.

When searching a passenger, Nelson Clark III, 25, they say they found a small hard ball between his legs and under his buttocks. When asked what it was, Clark told officers it was, “his di**.”

When searching the vehicle, officers say they found a loaded gun underneath Clark’s seat.

Clark was charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and having weapons under disability.

They say Clark’s pants had white powder on them.

After taking Clark to the Mahoning County Justice Center, they found a bag of alleged OxyCodone pills where Clark was sitting inside the police cruiser.
