Youngstown police investigate series of vehicle breakins

Youngstown police are investigating vehicle thefts that were reported in the same area Tuesday. 

According to police reports, three vehicles were broken into the area of Imperial and Elberen streets. 

Two vehicles were broken into on Elberen Street and one on Imperial Street between Monday night and Tuesday. 

Items stolen from the car on Imperial Streets include three loaded Glock magazines and two loaded AR magazines. A pair of white Jordan tennis shoes were also taken. 

Loose change, cigarettes, and approximately $16 were taken from the other vehicles. 

Another vehicle theft was reported on Tuesday on Tyrell Avenue, which is about a half mile away. In that theft, someone rummaged through the glove box, but nothing was reported missing.
