YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified a man found shot to death early Saturday morning on a North Side sidewalk.
The coroner’s office said in a news release the man is Troy Adkins, 26, of Youngstown.
Adkins was found lying face down about 2:40 a.m. on a sidewalk at Kensington and New York avenues. He had been shot several times.
Detectives are still investigating. An autopsy will also be conducted by the coroner’s office.

This the 10th homicide in Youngstown this year. Last year, there were 19 homicides in Youngstown.
