YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A 19-year-old Jackson-Milton High School graduate appeared in court Tuesday, facing charges of forgery and identity and telecommunications fraud.
Prosecutors say Gerald Ihrig sent fake school transcripts, trying to get into the College of Wooster.
He’s accused of creating a phony email account in the name of a guidance counselor.
Ihrig is now free on bond.
