A man told police that he was robbed at knifepoint by a woman he met on Facebook.

According to a Youngstown police report, the man invited the woman into his home on the 1300 block of High Ave. around 4:50 a.m. Thursday.

He told officers that he invited the woman over after meeting her on Facebook.

She asked to borrow $40, and when he went to grab the money, she took his pants which had his wallet, credit card and $5,000 in cash inside, the report stated. The victim said the woman then grabbed a kitchen knife and said, “If you come near me, I’ll stab you.”

The victim said she ran outside toward Garland Avenue and got into a white four-door Cadillac. The man followed the car until he lost sight of it on Interstate 680.

Police were given information from the woman’s Facebook page.
