A Youngstown man was indicted this month in a case of human trafficking.
David Kalna, 37, was arraigned Tuesday in the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas on charges of trafficking in persons and compelling prostitution.
He was picked up Tuesday by Youngstown police during a traffic stop on the city’s west side.
Although authorities are not commenting on the case, we’ve learned the charges involve relatives of Kalna’s. One of the victims was 12 years old when investigators say the crimes began.
Kalna is in the Mahoning County Jail on $100,000 bond.
