All WRTA bus drivers will also be required to wear a face covering

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Beginning May 4, WRTA is requiring that all riders aboard Countywide buses must wear a face covering.

Countywide, a scheduled ride service, is the only service presently being offered by WRTA.

Face coverings will also be mandatory when modified WRTA Fixed Route service returns in mid-May.

“We’ve been encouraging our riders to put masks on. They’ve been pretty diligent in following our recommendation. Now with us making it mandatory, we’ll be able to not allow them to book a trip if they do not follow that rule,” said WRTA director Dean Harris.

All WRTA bus drivers will also be required to wear a face covering.

More information is available on WRTA’s website or by calling 330-744-8431.
