The Boys and Girls Club helps make great futures a reality for America’s youth.
WRS Wealth Advisors is ready to help them dress for success.
Tuesday, WRS celebrated a new location in Boardman along South Avenue. The company is also using it to start a special suit drive to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown.
WRS wants to help community causes, while the Boys and Girls Club needs the clothing to help kids be prepared for their future.
“We had it a couple weeks ago when they had a presentation, and they were dressed up in a suit, and one of the kids, you couldn’t wipe the smile off his face. He just had a different type of confidence about himself,” said Germaine McAlpine, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club.
Tom Klim, partner and financial advisor of WRS Wealth Advisors, said he believes it’s important to help out the community.
“The mission of our company is not only to provide comprehensive, collaborative, and sound financial advice, but to play an active role in the community in which we work and live. Our new location gives us the physical space to accomplish initiatives that align with our personal and professional values. The partnership with The Boys and Girls Club is one of many we hope to accomplish,” he said.
If you’d like to help, you can drop off men’s or women’s professional clothing at WRS through April 19, during normal business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
WRS is located at 8286 South Ave., Building A, in Boardman.
WRS is requesting the following items: gently-worn men’s and women’s suits of all sizes or dress separates such as sports coats, blazers, jackets, ties, skirts and dresses.
