A Warren man is facing a sexual imposition charge after a 62-year-old woman said he groped her at Burger King.

Police were called to the restaurant on Main Avenue SW on Saturday woman for reports of an unwanted man there.

Managers said they asked 43-year-old Earl Freeman to leave, but he refused.

A woman at Burger King told police that she knew Freeman from seeing him at local convenient stores in the city. The woman said she was talking to Freeman when he began rubbing her shoulders and arms.

She said the rubbing was “completely unwanted and unwarranted,” according to a police report.

The woman told police that she tried to ignore Freeman’s touching, but his hands moved toward her breast, grabbing it. She said he then leaned over, giving her a kiss on the cheek, according to the report.

The woman said she felt violated by the incident.

Witnesses at Burger King told police that the woman gave Freeman no reason for him to touch her in the manner that he did, police said.

Police said Freeman was standing outside of the restaurant when they arrived. He was arrested when he started walking away toward apartments on W. Market Street.

Freeman is being held without bond in the Trumbull County Jail until his next court appearance on January 15.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
