Youngstown police are looking for a woman who went missing after she was released from jail.
According to a police report, 33-year-old Amy Begeot was released from the Mahoning County jail on October 24. She went to see her children at an address in Boardman and hasn’t been seen since.
A family member said she received a text message from Begeot saying that she was in “some woods” in Boardman, near an apartment complex in the South Avenue/Mathews Road area.
Police have a person of interest in the case but haven’t released any further information.
