HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – The Howland Township Park District has launched a new website.
MDI Studios designed HowlandParks.com. The website is an easy guide to the township’s three parks.
You can rent a pavilion, learn about upcoming events and also donate to help rebuild the Tiger Town playground.
“It’s just going to really be the difference-maker with this fundraiser, to really build all three phases of the park, the new Tiger Town for our youth in Howland,” said Brandon Giovannone, owner of MDI Studios.
In a timeline laid out on the website, you can see they hope to install new play structures, replace the surface material and add a splash pad — all by spring of next year.
The goal of the fundraiser is to add parking, walking and safety upgrades.
The old Tiger Town was closed last year for safety reasons.
