LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency issued General Motors and LG Chem a water quality certification for its proposed Lordstown battery cell plant.

The certification is a requirement for an application with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that would allow for construction.

The Army Corps must still grant its approval though.
