Warren police: Victim held at gunpoint, gives suspect some of his clothes

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police responded to a call in Warren, Sunday evening after a man said he was held at gunpoint and had to give up some of his clothes. 

According to police, the victim said he was walking on the 2800 block of Merriweather Street, near Southern Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. when a vehicle with three people pulled up beside him.

The victim told police that they asked him where his brother was. When he told them that he did not know, a man got out of the back seat and pulled a gun on him. 

After telling the man he had no money, the victim said he was forced to give up his sweatshirt, shoes and cell phone. The victim said the three suspects drove away, heading southbound on Southern Boulevard.

No arrests were made in the report.
