Officers in Warren arrested a couple after the woman found her boyfriend cheating and held the offenders at gunpoint, police said.
Police responded to a house in the 800 block of Front St. SW on Monday after the other woman called 911, saying 33-year-old Tangela Bryant had a gun.
An officer found the woman who called 911 at the Sunoco gas station. She told the officer she met up with 39-year-old Terrance Green around 3:30 a.m. for sex, according to a police report.
The woman said they were in the bedroom for a few minutes when Bryant, Green’s girlfriend, burst in and started yelling at them.
She said Bryant pointed a gun at them, saying, “I’m going to kill you both” and “I’m going to shoot your d**k off,” according to the report.
The woman told police she tried to leave but Bryant pointed the gun at her and said, “You aren’t going anywhere.” She said it was 15 minutes before Bryant let her leave and even then, she pointed the gun at her the entire time, police said.
She called police from her car before driving to Sunoco.
When officers got to the house, they found Green and Bryant inside.
They learned Green had a warrant, so he was arrested.
Officers said they found suspected crack cocaine, two bags of suspected marijuana, a digital scale, a stolen gun and over $1,000 cash inside the house.
Bryant faces a charge of abduction.
Green faces a charge of receiving stolen property for the gun police found.
More charges could be coming after police get the drug lab test results.
