Victims followed from Warren Giant Eagle, robbed at gunpoint, police say

Warren police were contacted about an aggravated robbery at an apartment complex on Wednesday. 

According to the report, two people went to Giant Eagle at 5 a.m. to get coffee. The victims said the store was closed and two people approached them on foot. 

The victims told police that the man and woman were initially polite to them. The man and woman followed them back to their apartment on Plaza Avenue when the man pulled out a large handgun. 

The report said the robbers took $200 from a social security check and credit card information from one of the victims.

According to the report, the robbers were a black man with a large beard and a black woman with a weave in her hair. The victims told police that the robbers left the apartment complex in a silver car.
