Trumbull County looking for replacement for Rep. Glenn Holmes

TRUMBULL COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – There are at least six people interested in replacing Glenn Holmes, who announced on Wednesday that he was leaving as a Trumbull County State Representative.

The list of applicants was released by Trumbull County Party Chairman Dan Polivka.

Applicants include Warren assistant law director and Weathersfield Township trustee Gil Blair, Vienna Township trustee Richard Dascenzo, Attorney David Detec, lawyer Kristen Rock, non-profit conservation director Dennis Malloy and Jack Simon, who works for the the Trumbull County Engineer.

The deadline to apply is May 17.

The Democratic Caucus in the Ohio House will select the replacement.
