YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Most customers who lost power in Trumbull and Mahoning counties Wednesday have had their service restored.
Thousands lost service after an equipment problem. FirstEnergy spokesperson Lauren Siburkis said the issue was isolated to a piece of voltage regulation equipment.
When the outage was first reported, about 1,200 customers were without power in Mahoning County and over 4,000 in Trumbull County.
Power was restored to most customers throughout the day. As of 8 p.m., there were six customers without power in Mahoning County and fewer than five in Trumbull County.
