Anthony Cooper, 19, the third suspect in New Castle’s triple homicide from a few weeks ago, was arrested in Detroit.
New Castle police got news Monday that the U.S. Marshals arrested Cooper.
He faces three counts of homicide in connection to the deaths of Amariah Emery, 10, Nichole Pumphrey, 31, and Lawrence Cannon, 31.
Cooper will be sent back to New Castle to be prosecuted.
Steven Procopio, 19, and Jody Hammer, 41, were also arrested in connection to the crime.
Investigators said Procopio told them Cooper shot Cannon, Pumphrey and then Emery as she walked down the stairs.
One of the children who witnessed the shooting said Procopio shot her mother and sister.
Police said Hammer knowingly withheld valuable information and drove Cooper to a bus station to get him out of the New Castle area.
