GIRARD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Big Tap In event returned to Girard on Saturday after a five-year hiatus.
Almost 80 breweries took part in the event, nine of which are from the Youngstown area.
Some beers were only available at the event.
“We have collaboration beers that these folks came together and made special beers just for this event. It’s so exciting,” said organizer Phill Reda.
In 2012, Ohio had 47 craft breweries. There are now nearly 300 in the state.
